The HP 3787B combines T1/T1C and DDS (DSO A/B) testing in one portable test set. A built-in multiplexer/demultiplexer allows test patterns, control codes, or external data to be inserted into, or extracted from, individual timeslots, subrates, and overhead channels. Measurements range from simple BER tests to full error analysis, as well as signal level and optional DS1 jitter measurements
