The 9330 Resistance Standard is constructed in the familiar four-terminal configuration, but due to its advanced thermoelectric design is appreciably smaller than conventional ohmic standards, with the added feature of a hermetically sealed stainless steel inner well that houses and shields the resistance element in its own oil chamber.
