The A1205R Decade Synchro/Resolver Bridge is an ultra-precise instrument designed to permit the testing of precision synchro or resolver signals to a high degree of absolute accuracy. This passive device, no AC or DC power required, employs a unique ratio transformer circuit in lieu of the resistive circuit ordinarily used for this purpose, thus permitting faster and simpler test procedures while ensuring much higher accuracy and stability. The absolute accuracy, that when performing tests requires no adjustments or interpretations, of the angular settings of the bridge is ?2 S of arc. Control knobs on the bridge select the desired angle which is indicated on a direct reading digital display on the front panel. The maximum input voltage (rms) is 0.35 x frequency (in Hz) , not to exceed 170 V rms. For rated accuracy, the input frequency range is 400Hz to 800Hz. Equivalent rotor range is 359.999?. Input impedances in synchro mode is 1 Mohm/400Hz and in the resolver mode 750 kohms/400Hz. Output error voltage gradient is 4.85 ?V/S/V input.
